\nEvery year for 16 years, Windy City residents have kicked off their coldest season with the Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier. Sponsored by the Fifth Third Bank, the current celebration runs through January 8.<\/p>\n
\nThe Navy Pier is the site of many public events throughout the year. Part of the Streeterville neighborhood on the Near North Side, it consists of more than 50 acres of gardens, exhibition facilities, restaurants, parks and shops.
