One of the nicest things about living in one of the many apartments in Chicago’s River North neighborhood is the vast number of events and activities that are located virtually right outside your front door. One of these is the annual Chicago Sketch Comedy Fest, coming up in January.

ABOUT THE CHICAGO COMEDY SKETCH FEST
Hosted by Stage 773 in Chicago’s Belmont Theater District, the Chicago Sketch Comedy Fest celebrates that zany, timeless art form–the comedy sketch. The festival, the largest of its kind in the world, features more than 180 theater groups and more than 200 performances over the eight-day festival. Performances take place every hour, on the hour, and more than 11,000 comedy fans brave the cold Chicago weather each year to attend this unique and innovative festival.

Festival goers can buy one-day passes or save more by purchasing an all-festival pass. Tickets are available from the Stage 773 box office or via their website.

LIVING IN CHICAGO’S RIVER NORTH PARK NEIGHBORHOOD
Chicago’s River North Park neighborhood is located just north of the Loop, across the Chicago River, and just west of the city’s Magnificent Mile shopping and dining district. The neighborhood is noted for its many warehouses and industrial buildings that have been converted into stylish condominiums and apartments. River North is also home to a diverse collection of art galleries, ethnic restaurants, fashion and home decor boutiques and antique stores.
