Chicago Theater Week runs from February 9-19, 2017 as a celebration of the city’s vibrant history in the world of live theater. More than 250 professional theater companies in the Chicago Theater League have partnered with Choose Chicago to offer over 100 incredible live theatrical shows with something for every taste.

There’s shows and events for everyone taking place this week and weekend which make for some great last-minute plans. Here’s some shows you’ll want to see while you can.

Cymbeline, February 18 at Strawdog Theatre Company: A Shakespearean fairy tale about a king’s verdict that goes wrong with plenty of dark comedy and drama.

Game Changers, February 15-19 at The Joffrey Ballet: Directed by some of the most sought-after ballet choreographers in the world, Game Changers is featuring three different ballets: INFRA, Fool’s Paradise, and Year of the Rabbit.

Horrible Fun-Based on Cards Against Humanity, February 10-18 at Under the Gun Theater: This show lets the audience participate and let it all fly loose by giving each audience member three cards to fill in so the cast can do improv based on the combinations the judges and audience come up with.

I Left My Heart, February 9-19 at Mercury Theater: This musical tribute to Tony Bennett features the crooner’s greatest hits like “Rags to Riches”, “The Good Life”, and of course “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” performed by three talented singers, which is a must-see for any Bennett fans.
