Residents of the River North Park apartments in Chicago, IL will get a taste of the South on August 4 without having to travel. That’s because we’re having the Old Crow Smokehouse cater a Southern barbecue right in our 1/2-acre courtyard!
THE OLD CROW SMOKEHOUSE
The Smokehouse is a favorite of Chicagoans, with Google Review ratings of almost four stars. Comments include “awesome food and drinks,” “incredible food … great service,” and “good BBQ.” At the restaurant, it offers plenty of extras, such as live bands, events and private service. Here at the courtyard event, you’ll get to taste that excellent food with no need to worry about the crowds.
OTHER THINGS TO DO
Before you come to the barbecue, be sure to enjoy the other amenities your apartment offers. Work up an appetite in the exercise room, which includes a heated lap pool, or stay home and enjoy your free cable TV. You can also feel free to stroll around the courtyard and watch as the cooking begins.
This is just one of the many events you can enjoy at River North Park or in the surrounding city. Chicago is home to plenty of musical venues, ranging from small pubs all the way to huge arenas. Major league teams are present for every sport of note. Massive celebrations erupt for major holidays. Of course, many companies also call this city home, so you won’t have to commute far if you work in the area. All of these attractions are easy to reach via subway or bus. Downtown parking exists if you choose to take your car instead.
